Mankatha Tamil Movie Preview | Ajith Trisha Latest Film

Ajith's much-awaited 50th film Mankatha, directed by Venkat Prabhu, has raised expectations almost to breaking point. The star cast of this multi-starrer includes Trisha, Arjun, Anjali, Lakshmi Rai, Premgi Amaran, Ashwin and Vaibav. In his 50th flick, the actor will play the role of an ordinary man who does anything to earn money. The crew shot some crucial scenes at Mumbai’s Dharavi slums recently.

Our sources say that the film is about cricket betting during the IPL season and Ajith's on screen character is named Vinayak. Sources further reveal that Ajith's character will have some negative shades too. (Remember Shahrukh Khan in Baazigar and Marlon Brando in Godfather?).

The film is produced by Dayanidhi Alagiri under his Cloud Nine Movies banner. Ajith's salt-and-pepper hairstyle similar to George Clooney's in Ocean’s 11 has already created curiosity among critics and audiences. The title song 'Vilayadu Mankatha', which was released as a single track, has already created waves in almost all FM channels.

All eyes are now on the music launch which is expected to take place soon in Chennai. And guess what is Mankatha's byline? "Yellaarum kettavanga, aana ivan romba kettavan." (Every one is bad but he is very bad)!
